Health Catalyst unveils population health technology

Data analytics company Health Catalyst introduced its Population Health Foundations solution to aid hospitals' population health initiatives and the transition to value-based care.

Built on Health Catalyst's foundational data and analytics platform, the technology is designed to help organizations analyze financial and clinical data from multiple sources. It also offers tools for web-based patient stratification and registry building.

The technology aims to give clinicians a comprehensive view of performance data, including financial risks and rewards, enabling them to enter into risk-bearing arrangements with clarity.

It also allows organizations to integrate other Health Catalyst population health tools supporting several capabilities, such as contract performance modeling and care variation analysis.
