Here are four points:
1. Mr. Denna is currently vice president of information technology and CIO at the College Park-based University of Maryland.
2. He previously served as CIO at Salt Lake City-based University of Utah and the Utah System of Higher Education as well as vice president and the first CIO of Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
3. From 1998 to 2000, he served as a member of the Education CIO Advisory Board to the late Apple CEO Steve Jobs.
4. In his new role, Mr. Denna will work with CIOs at Health Catalyst client companies to help them develop and implement IT strategies and leverage Health Catalyst platforms.
