Health Catalyst adds 4 SVPs, including former Intermountain, Banner & Novant execs

Health Catalyst appointed four new members to its leadership team.

William Caldwell, MD, will serve as the organization’s senior vice president of physician and market development. He previously served as senior vice president of clinical integration at Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health. Over the course of his career, he has won 26-plus awards for clinical excellence.

Health Catalyst named Cathy R Menkiena, BSN, RN, senior vice president of professional services. She is the former senior director of EHR Solutions at Encore Health Resources, an emids company. She also has prior experience working at Cerner, Epic and IBM Global Business Services as well as health systems, including Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare.

Ryan Smith is Health Catalyst’s new senior vice president of client engagement. He formerly served as CIO of Phoenix-based Banner Health. He has nearly 25 years of health information technology and leadership experience.

Steven Vance will serve as senior vice president of professional services at Health Catalyst. He was previously regional CFO and compliance officer at Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare. He worked at Intermountain for 25 years.
