Hawaii Medical Service Association joins statewide HIE

Hawaii’s largest health insurer, Hawaii Medical Service Association, has joined the Hawaii Health Information Exchange, according to a Pacific Business News report.

HMSA is the first health plan in the state to connect to the HIE network. It joins 12 other hospitals and labs throughout Hawaii.
