Nurses can view the contents of the automated pharmacy cabinets, produced by Mountain View, Calif.-based Omnicell, in the hospital’s Epic EHR system. The integration was led by hospital executives in nursing informatics and pharmacy management to reduce the time nurses spend on dispensing medication, according to a news release.
