Greater Illinois Chapter HIMSS elects new officers

The Greater Illinois Chapter of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society elected new officers and board of directors to lead the 2017 to 2018 term.

Here are the newly-elected leaders.

President: Janet Guptill, executive director of Maple Grove, Minn.-based Scottsdale Institute

President-elect: David Miller, CIO of Jacksonville Beach, Fla.-based Optimum Healthcare IT

Past President: Laura Bagus, executive director of technology services of University of Chicago Medicine

Secretary: Sarah Korf, client service partner and healthcare lead at Seattle-based Slalom Consulting

Treasurer: J.V. Maganti, founder and CEO of Chicago-based Guava Group.
