Sanofi announced limited details about the alliance June 26 at the American Diabetes Association 78th Scientific Sessions in Orlando, Fla. Together, the three companies plan to create and commercialize a new generation of “all-in-one” pre-filled insulin patch pumps for patients with Type 2 diabetes.
The collaboration combines Sanofi’s experience developing diabetes solutions, Sensile Medical’s work developing micro-pump technologies and digital health expertise from Verily, formerly called Google Life Sciences.
