Google deepens its blockchain investment

Google has partnered with startup blockchain company Chainlink to serve as one of the tech giant's Cloud partners, according to CoinDesk.

Per the agreement, Google will integrate its BigQuery data on the blockchain by using a "Chainlink oracle smart contract." BigQuery is Google's data warehousing and business intelligence solution.

Chainlink aims at being a middleman between traditional data sources and blockchain-based systems, CoinDesk reports.
