The new telemedicine program will allow Gila physicians and patients to interact with caregivers at UNM Hospital via a computer and video camera unit. The program aims to ensure that children can gain access to specialized care without leaving their communities.
The telemedicine services are being offered through the Child Ready telehealth program, which includes seven participating healthcare facilities.
