In the new partnership, clients using GE’s patient flow solutions have the option to transition to TeleTracking’s patient flow solutions, allowing GE to place more focus on workforce optimization solutions while leveraging TeleTracking’s patient flow solutions.

The end goal is to support operational efficiencies using shared data and analytics, pulling information from a variety of sources, such as asset management, hand hygiene compliance monitoring, patient tracking and staff scheduling.

“We look forward to advancing the shared aim of both companies to improve healthcare delivery by improving hospital operations and reducing unsustainable wasteful spending in our industry,” said Joe Shrawder, CEO of GE Healthcare Global Services, in a statement.
