FMDH, a 25-bed critical access hospital, implemented its current Meditech EHR more than 20 years ago.
“There are many reasons why we decided to move forward with Meditech, including our ability to remain autonomous,” said FMDH Director of Support Services Dave Nixdorf. “Other vendors require us to purchase the EHR from a larger system, while Meditech allows us to remain independent.”
