Orlando-based Florida Hospital, part of Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based Adventist Health System, will soon deploy Health Outcomes Sciences' technology platform that aims to improve care for angioplasty patients.
The ePrism platform automates research data and uses it to conduct predictive risk modeling. This helps clinicians better understand risks for specific patients, leading to more informed care decisions. The platform enables predictive risk modeling for a number of complications, including percutaneous coronary intervention bleeding, restenosis and mortality.
Florida Hospital will also serve as a reference site for Health Outcomes Sciences to aide in the development of new cardiac models of care. Initially, ePRISM will be implemented at Kissimmee-based Florida Hospital Celebration Health. It will be deployed across other Florida Hospital locations over a one-year period.
