Mr. Scott was most recently CIO of Vincennes, Ind.-based Good Samaritan Hospital, where he led its Epic Community Connect EHR and oversaw other service management and IT security projects. He has also served in IT leadership positions with St. Louis-based Ascension and payer Humana.
In his new role, he will oversee the public health system’s IT, facilities and security departments. He will be “an asset in supporting our safety net mission of providing our community access to high-quality healthcare,” CEO Darcy Davis said in a March 30 news release.
