The health system debuted its video telehealth program, called Nemours CareConnect, in Florida in 2015. Since then, Nemours has expanded the American Well-designed smartphone, tablet and computer platform to four additional states: Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Nemours officials temporarily extended the service to Texas, and pledged to waive the normal service fee for families who use the code “Harvey.” With the Nemours CareConnect service, families have access to pediatricians who treat a range of nonemergency conditions, from infections to vomiting.
