The AR system, developed by Novarad, runs using Microsoft’s HoloLens headset. The technology allows Physicians to see 2D, 3D and 4D images of a patient’s internal body, which are overlaid directly onto the patient.
The software enables physicians and surgeons to formulate a pre-operative plan while highlighting relevant anatomy and internal structures to avoid during the real surgery.
