This time, the EU alleges Google is “abusing its dominance” with its advertising business and prevents website operators from placing ads on their websites that compete with Google’s ads, according to the report.
Previously, the EU filed a lawsuit in April alleging Google unfairly favors its own apps and products, specifically its Android devices. The EU also previously filed formal antitrust charges against the company alleging it promoted its own shopping service over others in search results.
