For the report, titled “ED Usability 2017,” KLAS Research surveyed more than 300 individuals at hospitals and clinics about the effectiveness of their facilities’ ED IS. Respondents included C-suite executives, ED managers and physician leaders, among others.
Here’s how eight popular best-of-breed and enterprise IS vendors with ED capabilities stacked up when respondents were asked how much the vendor improved patient safety during the past two years. Vendors were ranked according to respondents’ feedback, beginning with the vendor respondents cited as improving patient safety the most.
