EHNAC, a nonprofit accrediting body for organizations that electronically exchange healthcare data, sets standards that measure an organization’s ability to meet federal and state healthcare reform mandates, such as HIPAA.
This year’s changes to accreditation criteria include a focus on alignment with HHS’ Office for Civil Rights 2016 Phase 2 HIPAA Audit Program, DirectTrust’s policies and overall security consistency.
