Under the contract, the DSS team will implement Cybernius Medical’s cyberREN Renal Patient Care Management System, a specialized EMR and clinical data analysis system focused on nephrology care, with the VA’s homegrown VistA EHR at thirteen healthcare facilities. The team will deploy the cyberREN EMR with DSS’ integration toolkit and integration framework.

“This new integration will help the VHA leverage a uniform mechanism to capture and report dialysis data,” said Mark Byers, president and CEO of DSS. “VA dialysis facilities will now have access to the necessary software for electronic reporting to the CMS mandated web-based dialysis quality collection system.”
