Stanford will deploy Nuance’s DAX Copilot, which uses generative AI to automate clinical note taking during patient visits, throughout its entire organization, according to a March 11 news release from Nuance.

This decision comes after the health system began piloting the tool within its Epic EHR in 2023.

According to a survey from Stanford, 96% of its physicians stated that DAX was easy to use, while 78% of its physicians reported that it expedited clinical note taking.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
