Epic will replace several systems currently used by Beaver Medical Group. The network comprises more than 200 physicians and has 11 office locations. Switching to the new EHR will unify patient health records on a single platform, which will help streamline record sharing between providers.
“The EHR will allow healthcare providers to have a more complete patient history to help improve the delivery of quality care to our patients,” said Richard Hill, MD, president of Beaver Medical Group, according to the publication.
Beaver Medical Group patients will also gain access to Epic’s patient portal MyChart, which allows individuals to view their health information and message providers online.
