Five years after the Department of Veterans Affairs began the process of digitizing medical records from non-VA providers, the backlog of documents to be entered numbers nearly 600,000, according to an audit  by the VA Office of Inspector General.

Apple Health Records is now available to Allscripts Sunrise, TouchWorks and Professional EHR clients and their patients, according to an Aug. 22 news release. 

Laramie, Wyo.-based Ivinson Memorial Health will launch an Epic EHR system Aug. 24, according to Laramie Boomerang.
