Oracle is losing several leaders in its health records division, Bloomberg reported March 2.
Most recently, Senior Vice President of Product Management for Clinical and Healthcare AI Suhas Uliyar and Executive Vice President of Health and AI Sanga Viswanathan departed the company. Bloomberg cited people familiar with the matter who requested anonymity because the exits had not been publicly announced. The individuals said employees were informed of the departures last week.
The health unit has also seen the exits of three senior vice presidents: Quais Taraki, senior vice president and general manager of Oracle Health and AI; Ofer Michael, senior vice president of cloud product development; and Max Romanenko, senior vice president of engineering for Oracle Health and AI.
According to Bloomberg, each executive previously worked in Oracle’s cloud infrastructure division before moving to the acquired health unit to help reshape the business.
Oracle declined to comment to Bloomberg on the departures. Becker’s has reached out to the company and will update this story if more information becomes available.
Oracle’s health unit was formed following its $28.4 billion acquisition of electronic health record vendor Cerner in 2022.
