Oracle said June 10 it expects its Oracle Health business to reach double-digit revenue growth in fiscal 2027, driven by a new AI-powered overhaul of the Cerner EHR.
The projection came as Oracle reported record fourth-quarter and full-year fiscal 2026 results. Total revenues for the fiscal year reached $67.4 billion, up 17% year over year.
Oracle CEO Mike Sicilia said on a June 10 earnings call that the company is already pricing some clinical AI tools based on patient throughput — one of the outcome-based models the company is expanding across its application suite. “One of the things providers care about is how many people can we get through a healthcare system, reduce wait and queues to get better service to patients,” Mr. Sicilia said on the call.
Oracle said a rebuilt AI version of its Cerner EHR will push Oracle Health’s overall growth rate into double digits in fiscal 2027, which the company described in a news release as “just the beginning of the expansion of the Oracle Health business.” The company framed AI as poised to “revolutionize healthcare” by improving outcomes, cutting costs and freeing physicians from administrative work.
