Oracle Health’s new AI-powered patient portal is now generally available to patients across the U.S.
The Oracle Health Patient Portal integrates directly with the Oracle Health electronic health record, giving patients access to their medical records without uploading data into a separate outside system. That EHR, which Oracle Health launched in August 2025 as a platform built for what the company calls the “agentic AI era,” now underpins the portal’s patient-facing tools.
Patients can review visit summaries, key conditions, medications and outstanding tasks such as upcoming labs and screenings. The portal’s embedded AI also answers patient questions in plain language, grounded in the patient’s own record, and cites its sources for each response, according to an Aug. 12 news release from Oracle.
Patients can also manage appointments through natural language requests, and the AI recommends clinicians and time slots based on prior visits. The system includes guardrails that block it from offering diagnoses or treatment recommendations, directing patients instead to their care provider or, in emergencies, to 911.
Oracle plans to showcase the portal alongside its broader clinical and life sciences suite at the Oracle Health and Life Sciences Summit in Orlando, Fla., Sept. 22-24.
