For the upgrade, the hospital plans to transition an estimated 350,000 medical records to the Epic platform.
“OMC has identified key individuals who will build the system, train the staff and then help with implementation,” Barb Sorensen, a hospital spokeswoman, told the Post Bulletin. “These individuals will be attending training at the Epic campus [in Verona, Wis.]. All employees of OMC who need to use Epic will be provided training prior to our go-live date.”
