Lawton, Okla.-based Comanche County Memorial Hospital has selected Meditech Expanse to replace multiple legacy systems with a single EHR platform.
The move is intended to improve care coordination, clinician workflows and patient access to health information, according to a Sept. 3 news release from Meditech. The hospital previously relied on five to seven medical record systems.
Implementation began with a configuration phase, during which hospital teams worked alongside Meditech staff to build workflows and training resources. The platform also includes interoperability features, clinical decision support, and integrated revenue cycle and supply chain tools.
Hospital leaders said in the release that the system will help clinicians make more informed decisions and spend more time with patients.
