OhioHealth hospital spends $12M on EHR upgrade

OhioHealth Van Wert Hospital has spent $12 million to upgrade its EHR system to CareConnect.

The new EHR system, powered by Epic, went live on March 24, according to a March 25 news release from the Columbus-based health system. 

The new system enables patients to schedule appointments, see a provider virtually and pay their medical bills all in one place.
