Community Medical Center in Falls City, Neb., has implemented Epic through a partnership with Bryan Health.
The launch occurred Sept. 6 after a yearlong collaboration between the two organizations.
Community Medical Center is the first hospital outside Bryan Health to be connected to its Epic system, according to a Sept. 6 news release from Bryan. The Lincoln, Neb.-based health system adopted Epic in 2018 and has since extended it to all its facilities across the state.
Epic features at CMC include streamlined clinical workflows, improved data sharing and a patient portal with bill pay and messaging capabilities. Bryan’s Epic Community Connect program is expected to expand to additional sites in the near future, the release said.
