The DX-D Retrofit system allows Monongalia General Hospital to convert to digital technology, and images taken are automatically integrated into the patient’s electronic health record.
“The benefits of upgrading to a digital X-ray room, include almost immediate image access, faster exam times and the potential to reduce dose with Cesium Iodide-based detectors,” said George Curley, senior marketing manager of Agfa HealthCare North America, in a news release. “DR has been shown to improve workflow within the hospital while also providing a quality patient experience.”
