Collins, Miss.-based Covington County Hospital plans to transition to Epic as its EHR platform, with full implementation expected by Jan. 31, according to a Jan. 7 news release.
Gregg Gibbes, CEO of Covington County Hospital, said the move will enable the hospital to deliver more connected, efficient and patient-focused care. Patients will gain access to their records, test results and be able to communicate with providers through the platform.
The hospital said staff will receive extensive training to support the rollout.
