Meditech revenue dips 5% for Q1: 4 things to know

Meditech filed its earnings results for the first quarter of 2019 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission April 30.

Four things to know about the company’s financial performance:

1. Meditech posted $115.36 million in revenue for the first quarter, down 5.7 percent from $122.37 million in the same time period last year.

2. The EHR vendor reported $82.45 million in service revenue, a 2.5 percent increase from $80.45 million during the first quarter of 2018.

3. For product revenue, Meditech posted $32.9 million, down 21 percent from $41.92 million in the same time period last year.

4. The company posted a net income of $36.15 million, up 94 percent from $2.82 million during the first quarter of 2018.
