For its Data Analytics Platforms 2021 report, KLAS interviewed provider customers of several data analytics vendors to generate performance scores across five pillars of a data analytics platform: data ingestion, data management, analytics, advanced analytics and underlying components.
Cerner’s deep adopters validated adoption of 100 percent of the vendor’s basic platform capabilities and 86 percent of its advanced capabilities.
For Epic, at least one of the vendor’s deep adopters have adopted 100 percent of its basic capabilities, and all three of Health Catalyst’s deep adopters use the vendor to aggregate clinical, financial and operations data.
Among some of the more recent emerging data analytics platforms, deep adopters of Innovaccer reported high adoption across all key pillars except analytics, and Arcadia.io’s deep adopters reported adoption of 100 percent of the basic capabilities.
Here is how the vendors ranked in terms of depth of adoption, which measures how consistently their platform capabilities have been deployed across all the report participants.
