Murray, Ky.-based Murray Calloway County Hospital plans to go live with a new patient portal April 14 as it transitions to an Oracle Health EHR.

The hospital had originally intended to launch the new EHR in August but project delays moved that date to April. The facility allocated $3.8 million in one-time expenses for the new system in its current budget.

The new patient portal unites hospital and clinic data in one platform, where patients will be able to schedule and preregister for appointments and message their care teams. Past health records will still be available on the hospital’s website for nine months.
