Joel Benware. Vice President of Information Systems and Compliance at Northwestern Medical Center (St. Albans, Vt.). Mr. Benware is responsible for strategic planning of all data communications, management and EMR use in his role at Northwestern Medical Center. The hospital has achieved HIMSS EMR Adoption Model Stage 6 status. Hospitals & Health Networks named Northwestern Medical Center one of Health Care’s Most Wired hospitals in 2016. Mr. Benware previously served as CIO of Malone, N.Y.-based Alice Hyde Medical Center.
