HCA Capital Division has completed its final Meditech Expanse EHR go-live, marking the completion of a divisionwide implementation effort.
According to a June 17 LinkedIn post from HCA Capital Division CIO Brian McElyea, Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, N.H., became the fifth and final hospital involved in the EHR rollout.
Mr. McElyea said the milestone made Capital Division the first U.S. division within HCA Healthcare to operate fully on Meditech Expanse.
“The fifth and final piece of the puzzle to bring a whole U.S. division up on Expanse for the first time,” Mr. McElyea wrote in the post.
The HCA Capital Division operates 18 hospitals across Virginia and New Hampshire.
The move comes after Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare completed the first large-scale phase of its systemwide EHR rollout in January, bringing Meditech Expanse live at 43 hospitals.
The rollout is part of a multiyear agreement to deploy the Meditech Expanse EHR across more HCA Healthcare facilities.
