Clewiston, Fla.-based Hendry Regional Medical Center has selected Meditech’s Expanse EHR, replacing multiple legacy systems with a single platform.

The critical access hospital will transition from four disparate systems to a unified patient record designed to improve care coordination and clinician workflows, according to a March 31 news release. Leaders said the move is expected to enhance physician efficiency, reduce staff burnout and generate long-term cost savings by eliminating redundant systems and interfaces. The platform will also offer greater visibility into revenue cycle performance through real-time financial data across care settings.

The implementation will include the MyHealth patient portal to support engagement and continuity of care.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
