The newly-launched Customization Studio allows clinicians and other users to mold DeepScribe to their needs, according to a Jan. 11 press release. This is important for physicians in different specialties, because it allows them to customize their experience with Epic’s software.
At Covenant HealthCare, where these new customization efforts were honed, clinicians are already experiencing a reduction in after-hours documentation of up to 75%, according to DeepScribe.
The collaboration between Epic and DeepScribe has laid the groundwork for SmartData compatibility in Epic’s infrastructure. Other Epic solutions that use SmartData are now primed to work more efficiently and effectively because of DeepScribe’s impact.
