The September rollouts will be at Fairfield, Calif.-based Travis Air Force Base, Naval Air Station Lemoore (Calif.), U.S. Army Health Clinic Presidio Monterey, Calif., and Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho.
The June 2020 rollouts are scheduled for Naval Hospital Twenty-nine Palms and Fort Irwin National Training Center, both in California, as well as Air Force bases Los Angeles, Vandenberg (Calif.), Edwards in Kern County, Calif., Beale in Yuba County, Calif., and Nellis in Las Vegas Valley.
To achieve interoperability with the Department of Veterans Affairs Cerner EHR system, the DOD’s upcoming go-lives must be standardized to ensure the EHR systems are similar enough for data sharing, said Defense Health Agency Director Raquel Bono, according to the report.
