Medical records from three Connecticut-based InHealth clinics located in Mystic, Norwich and Willimantic, will be transferred to Hartford Healthcare’s facility in Waterford, Conn. The former InHealth patients will be able to pick up paper or digital copies of their records without charge. The former patients will also have the opportunity to transfer their healthcare to Hartford Healthcare.
The agreement comes after the Connecticut Department of Public Health and the attorney general’s office received almost 200 complaints from former InHealth patients who were having difficulty securing or transferring their medical records, according to the report.
