A CMS IT executive is leaving the agency for Oracle, InsideHealthPolicy reported.
CMS Chief Health Informatics Officer Alexandra Mugge plans to join the tech giant June 12 to work on health IT policy and regulations, according to the June 5 story. She has been with the agency since 2010.
She would join her former boss, Seema Verma, the ex-CMS administrator who is now executive vice president of Oracle Health and Life Sciences. Ms. Verma oversees the company’s EHR division, formerly known as Cerner.
