Pensacola, Fla.-based Baptist Health Care is moving to an Epic EHR system.
The new EHR system will roll out in 2028, according to a June 24 news release Baptist Healthcare shared with Becker’s.
“Selecting Epic reflects our commitment to continuously elevating how we care for our patients and support our providers and team members,” Mark Faulkner, president and CEO of Baptist Health Care said in the news release. “Advancements in healthcare technology are constant. This investment supports current workflow and patient care needs and positions us for greater adaptability in the future.”
The health system did not mention which EHR vendor it was switching from.
Baptist Health Care is a not-for-profit healthcare organization that includes three hospitals.
