Baptist Health, based in Jacksonville, Fla., is among the first healthcare organizations to implement Epic’s AI Build Assistant.
The AI Build Assistant, powered by Epic Factory, is designed to support Epic development work and help organizations streamline build processes, according to a June 16 LinkedIn post from Baptist Health.
Baptist Health said the technology could accelerate Epic build cycles, provide analysts with AI-driven support tools and improve the quality of clinical and operational solutions. The health system also said AI-assisted development could reduce friction in development workflows and increase the speed of project execution.
The move comes as Epic continues to expand its AI offerings. The company told Becker’s in 2025 that it expected to have more than 150 AI features available, with additional enhancements in development for 2026.
