Allscripts’ partners and clients use the company’s APIs for app deployment and data integration projects. The Allscripts Developer Program, which enables third-party app developers to build solutions for the Allscripts app store, has certified 200 applications and devices from 6,600-plus developers.

“Patients are using technologies developed using our APIs, as are healthcare providers and payers,” said Paul M. Black, CEO of Allscripts. “We will continue investing in our open ecosystem that is geared towards making data not only fluid but actionable at the point of care.”
