Allscripts nets $22M in Q2, revenue up nearly 40%

Four things to know about the Chicago-based EHR vendor’s financial performance for the second quarter of 2021, which ended Aug. 5.

1. Allscripts posted $180 million in bookings for the second quarter of 2021, up 9.8 percent from $164 million during the same time last year. 

2. Revenue for Allscripts’ second quarter was up 39 percent at $374 million, compared to $269 million in the second quarter of 2020. 

3. Allscripts posted $22 million in net income for the quarter, compared to a net loss of $8 million during the same time last year. 

4. The EHR company expects to post $1.5 billion in revenue for the full year.
