- Wallingford, Conn.-based Gaylord Specialty Healthcare is installing the Meditech EHR system, which will cost $7.6 million and take 18 months to install. The State Bond Commission will award Gaylord Specialty Healthcare $4.5 million for the installation, and the state health department will distribute an additional $2.6 million in federal funds from the American Rescue Plan Act for the installation. Gaylord Specialty Healthcare will cover the rest of the cost.
- Warren (Pa.) General Hospital is looking to install Meditech’s EHR system, which is expected to cost $2.3 million. The Meditech Expanse EHR system would help the hospital consolidate its current hospital records across three different platforms into one.
- Houlton (Maine) Regional Hospital is implementing Meditech’s EHR system. Since January, the health system has been working to replace its current system with Meditech’s Expanse EHR system, as well as a new patient portal.
- Box Butte General Hospital in Alliance, Neb., completed a Meditech mock live drill in September as it transitions to the EHR vendor. The 25-bed critical access facility had previously used Centriq for its EHR and is working to fully implement the Meditech EHR system.
