The DOD aims to roll out the EHR system in multiple waves, ultimately replacing DOD’s legacy system by 2022.Officials hope the new EHR will provide a single health record for service members, veterans and their families. It aims to integrate inpatient and outpatient solutions and connect medical and dental information.
