Datavant’s data de-identification and tokenization capabilities will be added to Amazon Web Services, according to a May 16 press release from Datavant. This will allow AWS’ healthcare customers to replace identifiable patient information with an encrypted token.
The token then will help reveal original patient information from EHRs, claims, social determinants of health and more.
Organizations can then use this information to gather new insights within the AWS environment.
