The technology aims to simplify the appeals process, enabling clinicians to streamline documentation and expedite the creation and submission of appeal letters, according to a Dec. 3 news release. The tool helps ensure that appeal deadlines with health plans are met, paving the way for appropriate reimbursements.

“Through our partnership with Xsolis, we’ve achieved a track record of operational and financial improvements,” Debbie Schardt, assistant vice president of revenue cycle and utilization management at MultiCare said in the release. “This generative AI tool will help us reduce burnout, improve job satisfaction, and generate additional savings for the organization.”

MultiCare began working with Xsolis in 2017 and is the first health system to pilot Xsolis’ generative AI tool.
