MultiCare Health System, based in Tacoma, Wash., is deploying an enterprise-wide AI documentation platform from Ambience Healthcare.
The move comes after the health system tested three ambient AI solutions throughout 2025. The effort involved 550 clinicians across more than 20 specialties, according to a Feb. 3 news release.
“Ambience didn’t just perform well, it was the clear favorite among our clinicians. When your front line staff overwhelmingly chooses a solution because it makes care better and their work easier, that’s where you invest,” Todd Czartoski, MD, executive vice president and chief physician executive at MultiCare, said in the release.
Over the next three months, MultiCare plans to expand Ambience to 1,500 clinicians across all specialties and care settings.
